This is a pretty Smart battery charger and has been a life-saver during -15C+ cold winter spells. I don’t use my car much and generally make short trips to run errands. This is not enough to keep my battery strong during these spells. But, this little genious keeps me at full strength, so my little power house has enough umph to turn over.

Works great. LED lights stay on when disconnected for the power source. Mine is a permanent install in a camper van. I would prefer if this turned off because I think it could drain my battery over a few weeks. I just disconnect it from the battery for a moment and it turns off completely.

No complicated set up involved, worked right out of the box. The instructions were not easy to understand. However, when I installed the supplied jumpers and plugged in the charger, it automatically sensed that it was cold and started the slow charge cycle. I have used it to successfully top up two RV deep cycle batteries and a marine starting battery.
